Voice as Medicine
Storytelling as Healing, Advocacy, and Return

In my world — and in the world of Grandma Knows Best — voice isn’t decoration. It’s survival. It’s resistance. It’s memory. It’s medicine.
We speak because we must.
We speak because our mothers and grandmothers too often couldn’t.
We speak softly, loudly, urgently, gently — but always with purpose.
Voice as Medicine is a space for magnifying voices:
• That were silenced
• That were forgotten
• That are still learning to trust themselves again
Here, we share stories that mend, challenge, soothe, and shake loose what systems tried to bury our voices.
Because every time we speak truth — in journals, in protest, in whispers — we return self-worth to ourselves, and each other.
