I Am Angry, Black, & Female

Feelings of abandonment,

lack of acknowledgments and

lack of accountabilities.

Lack of protection.

There are just too many conversations not occurring in our communities that need to take place in order to address the disparities that are happening within our social structures that hinder some of us from thriving. Whilst allowing our women and girls to remain at risk.

Some women attract attentions differently than others because of the tone of their skin.

A tone that sets a tone that allows for violences to be more tolerable for some humans over that of others.

The long term result is that our families often become informed by this allowing for these attitudes to be tolerable within our own closer knit families. Where sons and daughters value themselves and families no differently than the larger communities we are within.

Then before you know it those women on the lowest level of the social ladder have to take abuses not only from a colonial racist society, but also those colonized within our families, miseducated.
