Tea, coffee, or water in hand. Before the day gets noisy, take a minute.

Maybe today we do both: see the forest and notice the tree.

Find the words. Look up. Breathe.

Grandma Knows Best Saturday Sip & Serve word search titled Sip. Breathe. Notice., inviting readers to pause, notice nature, breathe, and find words linked to gratitude, kindness, rest, joy and peace.

Somewhere along the way, many of us became very good at rushing through the very things that might help us slow down.

Children have not forgotten. Give them grass, mud, sticks, leaves, puddles and healthy companionship and watch what happens.

Perhaps while they are learning from us, there are a few things we can relearn from them too. Because the children are watching, a good example couldn't hurt.

They are learning from what we prioritize, what we rush for, what we worry about, what we appreciate, and whether there is room in an ordinary day for both them and peace.

Some moments come and go. Let's notice a few with them before they do.

Nobody needs to solve the world before breakfast.

We are not chasing perfection. We are choosing peace.

Because sometimes it only takes a minute.

Keep the weekend going

If this gave you a minute, take another one. This weekend’s puzzle is ready.
